Precision 90° Square is a measuring tool for measuring the perpendicularity between a surface and a base, used to check right angles, verticality, and parallelism errors, also known as a 90º angle ruler. It is commonly referred to as a bending ruler or a guide ruler. It is mainly used to check the 90º right angles of workpieces, to check the perpendicularity of related surfaces of parts or components during installation and adjustment of equipment, and is also commonly used for marking lines in metalworking.
Here we introduce several different types of bevel square:

When selecting a right square, please pay attention to below points:
(1) The 00 grade square as calibration benchmark, should be used on a 0 grade flat plate and should be stored in a constant temperature measurement room.
0 grade square is used for precision inspection and should be used on a 0 grade flat plate;I grade square is used for precision inspection and is used on a I grade flat plate. The 2 grade square is used for marking.
(2) If the surface being inspected is flat, can choose a knife edge square. If the surface being inspected is cylindrical or curved, can choose a square with a measuring surface that is flat for inspection.
(3) Before use, carefully check whether the working surfaces and edges of the square has been damaged. Clean the working surface and the surface to be measured.
(4) During measurement, pay attention to check that the placement position of the right square is not tilted.
(5) If the square can be read in conjunction with other measuring tools during inspection, it is advisable to flip the right angle ruler 180° and measure again, taking the arithmetic average of both readings as the result. This can eliminate the deviation of the right angle ruler itself.
(6) During use and storage, care should be taken to prevent the long working edge from bending or deforming.
Precision bevel edge square is a useful tool for applications where an exact 90 degree angle is important. Thanks high-quality workmanship, it is perfect for precise measurements in violin making, industry and tool making. This precision bevel edge square is also an indispensable tool in optics or mechanical engineering, where the highest precision and accuracy are required.
