This external thread height measuring instrument is specifically designed for measurements of external threads smaller than 5 1/2in (139.7mm). Multiple measuring head options are available - please specify your required thread type when ordering for optimal configuration.

Operation Precautions
- Place measuring tip in corresponding standard template U-shaped slot, adjust indicator to zero position, and tighten bezel locking screw according to thread specifications.
- Verify measurement consistency between V-shaped and U-shaped grooves - deviation should not exceed 0.013mm. Greater values indicate potential measuring head damage requiring replacement.
- For actual measurement: position calibrated instrument in thread groove with anvil against adjacent thread top, perform small arc swings perpendicular to cone, and record maximum negative or minimum positive value as thread height error.
