These metric plug ring gauges are metrology tools used for checking threaded or tapped holes, verifying the proper thread type, major diameter, minor diameter, pitch diameter, and pitch of the thread against a mating thread gauge.
We utilize internal first-grade thread machining centers and measuring equipment to provide high precision thread ring gauges to customers worldwide. Plug gauges offer fast results and simple operation, requiring minimal training for effective use.
For small threaded parts, the gauge is double-ended with GO gauge on one end and NOGO on the other. For larger parts, these may be separate pieces. To pass inspection, the GO gauge should pass through the entire length of the nut with minimal rotational force, while the NOGO gauge should not enter beyond 2 turns when checked at both ends.
